The venue was lovely and tasteful, I really enjoyed the location close to the river and mountains, the the Engelszell Abbey, and bus stops, and mountain views. The location was marvellous - within short walking distance of everywhere I wanted to go. Plus there was a lake, within 30 minutes walk or so. The food at continental breakfast was great!

Feeling cozy and charmed by this place's vibe and the helpful team, even though I struggled with my German skills. the dinner at the restaurant was delightful; I really enjoyed the yummy dishes. 🍽️

The rooms were well-maintained and great-sized, complete with comfortable beds and a large balcony. the location was amazing, close enough to the trappist monastery, mountains, and restaurant and easily accessible.

The Goldenes Schiff Hotel-Mietparkplatze in Engelhartszell is an absolutely charming and lovely place, with amicable staff. the location is impressive and stunning, really close to mountains, nature, the Danube river, and the trappist monastery. Good breakfast is available.

This place is absolutely mind-blowing! The location right by the Danube river is just perfect, and the village's monastery with its "jewelled skeletons" is jaw-dropping. The hotel goes above and beyond with their service, offering a kitchen even on a holiday, and the food is super delicious, especially the breakfast. We were pleasantly surprised to be upgraded to premium rooms at no extra cost, both with stunning views of the Danube. And as avid bikers, we couldn't ask for a better base camp, with a bike garage, printed information materials, and the Danube ferry nearby. The staff is incredibly friendly and the facilities, including free parking and bike storage, are top-notch. this place is a hidden gem and a great value for money. Highly recommended for a memorable stay!

the location was unbeatable, right next to a picturesque trappist monastery and with a stunning view of the river. the spacious room had quality furniture, a comfortable mattress, and a modern bathroom. the service was excellent, with a friendly and accommodating staff. the breakfast in the morning was of a high standard and there were additional facilities like bike storage and a drying room. it was a delightful experience!

The WiFi was a bit slow in the evenings, but it was a minor inconvenience compared to the overall positive stay.
